She was born in Angleton, TX and raised in Ballinger and Dallas, TX.
She married Oscar August Richter in December 1923. Katharine was a resident of Alamo Heights since 1928.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Dahl of San Antonio; her niece, Jean White of Dallas; niece, Mrs. W.F. "Betty" Lewis of San Antonio; great nephews, Bruce White of Houston, Kraig White of Dallas, Will Lewis of San Antonio; great niece, Mrs. Thomas "Linda" Ewing of San Antonio; and great-great niece, Christina Ewing-Gromoll of Wiesbaden, Germany.
