Katherine Rena Panozzo

Katherine Rena Panozzo (nee Boscardin), age 87, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at home in San Antonio, Texas. She was born April 1, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Marie Rebeschini and Robert Boscardin. She married Les, her high school sweetheart and love of her life, in 1958. She lived in Illinois, Ontario Canada, Connecticut, and Wisconsin before moving to San Antonio in 2000.

Rena devoted her life to caring for her family until the end, not out of obligation but because of who she was – a sweet, kind, loving soul. She volunteered at her children’s schools, the church, and local hospital. She was an avid reader.

Rena was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Robert Boscardin. Rena is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Leslie Joseph Panozzo; son, Gary (Lorraine) Panozzo; daughters, Kathy (Stephen) MacAulay, and Linda (Craig) Chuha; grandchildren, Kayla (Michael) Stahl, Tyler (Michelle) Panozzo, Trevor Panozzo, Joe MacAulay, Luke Chuha, Carly Chuha, Bianca (Dave) Maples, and Joe (Adriane) Donley; great grandchildren Jacob, Sadie, and Hudson Stahl, Brooklyn and Tucker Panozzo, Derek and Ryan Maples, and David Donley; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
