Katherine Torres Patino, born February 15th, 1932, left this earth to be with the Lord December 10, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was a long time resident of Garden City & Big Spring, TX and then San Antonio in 2018 & Castroville, TX in 2020. Born in Sterling City, Texas to Valentine and Maria Torres. She was married to Ismael Patino (preceded in death) for 44 years. She was a devoted Christian, a dedicated wife & loving mother to their 3 sons. Katherine loved good food and socializing with friends and family. She provided guidance to all who'd asked. She gave much of what she had for the little that she was given. She is survived by her sons and spouses; Luis & Manuela Patino, San Antonio, TX., Jorge (preceded in death) & Delma Patino, El Paso, TX. and Robbie & Janice Patino, Dayton, OH. Grandchildren and spouses; LJ Patino and wife Vahn, Natalie Phillips and husband Mark, Ryan Patino and wife Shanice, Jess Patino and wife Valerie, Brittany Ruiz and husband Cole, Chelsy Moody and husband Daniel, Nathan Patino & Kristina Patino. Great-grandchildren; Bella Patino, Lizzy Patino, Natalie Phillips, Maddy Phillips, Jack Phillips, Olivia Patino, Eleanor Patino, Cooper Moody & Magnolia Patino. Sisters; Eviolanda Mercado, West Palm Beach, FL., Sylvia Aurora, Oceanside, CA., Blanche Kensey, San Antonio, TX. There will be no visitation services as per Katherine Patino's wishes. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 5; Awaiting the New Body
