Katherine Engels Patterson went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2004. She was born on July 1, 1924 in Sheffield, Alabama. She is greatly loved by all and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. Katherine is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roy David Patterson. She is survived by her children, John C. Patterson and wife, Sue, David E. Patterson and wife Cynthia, Julie Ann Owens and husband, David; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at Porter Loring.
