In loving memory of Kathleen Farnandez, who was born on August 12, 1944, and peacefully passed away on October 7, 2023. She is survived by her son, John Kelly, his wife Audrey Vanluvanee, and their beloved grandchildren. Kathleen was not only a dedicated mother and grandmother but also a proud matriarch with a relentless work ethic that she carried throughout her life.

Kathleen's life was enriched by her family, including 17 cherished great-grandchildren who brought immense joy into her world. She was known for her unwavering commitment to her family, always putting their well-being above all else.

In addition to her family, Kathleen had a deep affection for her pets, Bingo, Mandy, and Maggie. She entrusted their care to her best friend, Chris, who became an indispensable part of their extended family. Kathleen's passion for her pets exemplified her kind and loving nature.

Throughout her life, Kathleen maintained strong friendships, playing bunco with many close companions and engaging in heartfelt conversations with her best friends, Linda and Carol, who were not in the same state but held a special place in her heart.

As the years passed, Kathleen's health declined, but her incredible grandchildren stepped up to ensure her comfort and well-being. Their dedication and love were immeasurable, and Kathleen couldn't have been more grateful for their unwavering support.

Kathleen was known for her candidness and independence, traits that became integral to her character due to the trials and tragedies her family endured over the years. She was never afraid to speak her mind, and this straightforwardness became a defining feature of her personality.

Kathleen had a frugal side too, always ready to visit ten different stores to save a few dollars. Her resourcefulness was just one more aspect of her uniqueness. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family, and her memory will be cherished.
