Kathryn Shepherd Rust, born on August 29, 1929, has gone to be with the Lord on September 8, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Isaac Shepherd and Mary "Kate" Countess Shepherd, as well as her husband Ray C. Rust and her daughter Kathryn Scott Emmons Fry. She is survived by her daughter Julia Drew Smith, son-in-law Buddy Smith, Grandsons: Jarred Fry and Brandon Briggs, and Granddaughters: Kristyn M. Jones and Jennifer Bree Folk. She has 8 great-grandchildren.
