She was born and raised in Bloomington, IL and graduated from Illinois State University.
After a number of years with the Illinois Farm Bureau, Kay relocated to San Antonio and completed her Insurance Accounting career with USAA. Afterward, she enjoyed being a Mary Kay Consultant.
She was a member of Fellowship of San Antonio Church.
Kay will be remembered as a loving wife, caring stepmother and thoughtful friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Mina Iseminger.
She is survived by her husband, of 19 years, Jack A. Pool; cousin, Ron Miller, his wife Jay and their children Tracey Ebdon and husband, John and Craig Miller and wife, Beth; aunt, Lida Miller;stepchildren, Melany Stallings, her husband, Wes and their children, Randy and Ashton; Darrell Pool, his wife, Rhonda and their children, Kelli and Leslie; Cary Pool, his wife, Holly and their twins, Maci and Colton.
