

Kenneth D. Cozzie, age 78, passed away on December 13, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 2, 1947, in Modesto, California, and lived a life defined by dedication to family, pride in his work, and service to his country.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Wanda Cozzie.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Roseann Cozzie; his son, James Anthony Cozzie; and daughter-in-law, Holly Ann Cozzie. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Leah Marie Louisa, Adam James Cozzie, Lydia Holly Cozzie, Anthony Issac Cozzie, and Moriah Ann Cozzie, each of whom brought great joy and pride to his life.
Kenneth was a graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois, and later completed his training at Washburne Trade School in Chicago, Illinois. He proudly served as a U.S. Army veteran and went on to build a respected career as a finishing carpenter with the Chicago Brotherhood of Carpenters Union Local 62, where his craftsmanship and work ethic were well known.
Outside of work, Kenneth found happiness in many hands-on pursuits. He enjoyed salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, trap and target shooting, carpentry and home improvement projects, and auto mechanics. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and took pride in fixing, building, and improving whatever was set before him.
Kenneth will be remembered as a dedicated husband, a loyal friend, and a devoted father whose lessons, values, and example will be carried on for generations. His steady presence, practical wisdom, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family held a private service to honor Kenneth.
