Kenneth Adam Cruz, Jr.

The greatest son and brother, Kenneth Adam Cruz Jr., age 23, transitioned into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 15th in San Antonio. K.C., as known by his family and Kenny, by his many friends graduated from Central Catholic High School Class of 2019. Kenny then went to study at St. Mary’s University where he earned his honorary Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry on his 23rd birthday. Kenny loved school and learning. He planned on attending medical school and becoming a pediatric oncologist. Kenny loved playing bass, guitar and ukulele, fishing in Rockport, and most importantly loved spending time with his friends and family. Kenny was a gentle soul with a heart of gold who let his faith in God guide his every step. Our warrior will forever be missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Antonio Cruz and uncle, Carlos Abundis. K.C. is survived by parents, Kenneth and Linda Cruz; brother, Kolby Cruz; grandparents, Delfina and Antonio Abundis and Pearl Cruz; his beloved cat Gumball and dog/nephew Jake; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
