

He was born in San Antonio, Kenneth was known to everyone as "Kenny". He was a graduate of James Madison High School. Kenny and his wife, Cheryl, owned and operated Fertile Garden Supply, a horticultural and landscaping supply company, specializing in totally organic mulches as well as other residential and commercial landscaping products.
Kenny was a member of the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association. He was an advocate for "pesticide free" landscaping and appeared regularly on WOAI TV's "Living" program with Leslie Bohl Jones offering viewers tips on gardening. He also appeared on other local television and radio programs.
He loved his family dearly. He enjoyed taking them on vacations to many exotic places. He was especially proud of his son Tyler's accomplishments in school and sports. Kenny's hobbies included gardening, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Weir. Kenny is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl; 13 year old son, Tyler; two sisters, Sheila Weir Gonzalez and her husband Gabriel of Universal City and Sara Weir of San Antonio; parents, Jack and Dorthy Weir of Seguin. Pallbearers will be Malcom Beck, Keith Green, Keith Amelung, Gabriel Gonzalez and Arthur Cavazos.
