Kevin L. Surrett

Kevin departed this life on December 7, 2012. Kevin L. Surrett was born on December 7, 1964 in Jamaica, New York to the late Bobby Surrett, Sr. and Lorena Surrett. He attended the New York City public schools and completed his education at Harvard University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Government and Economics.

After college, Kevin began his career in finance in the Boston area. He then lived and worked in New York, California and Texas, where he resided at the time of his passing.

Kevin received Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of seven. He was a member of Highland Church until his college years, when he joined the Church of Christ.

Kevin was a devoted Christian who lived a life of service to The Lord and others. His home was always open for Bible study and fellowship, and he was dearly loved by all who were blessed to know him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lorena Surrett; brothers Bobby Jr. (Griselda) and Jeffrey (Valerie); nephews Daniel (Anna) and Stephen; nieces Giselle and Melissa; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of church family and friends. A visitation will begin at 11:30 A.M. at Highland Church, 87-24 162nd Street, Jamaica, NY 11432 (718)298-7475 with a service to follow at 12:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY.
