LaNita Reye Snow entered into the nearer presence of our Lord on March 18, 2012. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 26, 1924. She graduated high school from Blessed Sacrament Academy in San Antonio, Texas. After starting her family, she graduated from nursing school and was an RN first at the Nix hospital, then as a private RN for Dr. Robert Griffin for nearly 40 years. After retiring from nursing, she volunteered in the North East Independent School District at two elementary schools for nearly 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her eldest son, Ronald Curtis.
She is survived by her youngest son, Bryan Alexander, his wife, Dawn Hensch Snow, their daughter Lauren Raye & her husband Brandon Pittman, and Ron's widow, Melissa Dawes Snow.
Visitation will be 2pm, Friday, March 23, 2012 with the Funeral Service to be 3pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
