

She was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 22, 1951. Raised in Hereford, Texas, Laquita graduated from Hereford High School and went on to attend Texas Tech University.
Laquita was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Opal Robison of Hereford, Texas. Laquita is survived by her husband, John H. Cadena; her two sons, John Michael Cadena and Kelly Clifton Cadena; her brother, Glenn Robison and his wife, Mary; her niece, Molly Clarkson and her husband, Dave; her niece, Susan Jones and her husband, Darrin; her nephew, Andrew Robison and his wife, Kristin; her sister-in-law, Deborah Cadena and her husband, Ian Morris; her brother-in-law, Michael Cadena, his wife, Julie, and their two children, Christopher and Carsen; seven grandnephews and grandnieces; and numerous friends.
Having worked at St. David's Episcopal School, John H. Wood Middle School, and James Madison High School for several years, Laquita was also involved in Little League baseball and Beta Sigma Phi, Xi Phi Theta chapter.
