

Laszlo T. Andre went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2022 after a short illness. He was born in "Budapest, Hungary on July 7, 1946, to Leslie T. Andre and Helen (Ilona) Baan Andre. The family emigrated to the United States in 1956 after the student uprising in Budapest. They originally settled in east central Illinois where his father became a Professor at Eastern Illinois University. There Laszlo met his wife, Jane while they both attended the University. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was proud of his sons and delighted in the accomplishments of his grandchildren as they were growing up.
He proudly served in the United States Army and left as a Captain after 14 years service. While in the military he had the opportunity to finish his Bachelor of Science in Business from Eastern Illinois University and also earned a Master in Business Administration. He then spent a few years in Nigeria working at the Technical Training Group for the Nigerian Air Force. He later invested himself in ventures focused on personal security. He and Jane eventually settled in the San Antonio area where his parents had retired.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Andre, his sons, John Andre (Karla), and Michael Andre (Marcia), and his grandchildren, Hayden, Adam, and Payton.
Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church 29797 N US Highway 281 and interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery on Obst Road in Bulverde, Texas.
