He was born December 31, 1923 in Brenham, Texas to Louis Henry and Lydia Muery Graeber.
He grew up as a Lutheran and became a Methodist in 1943. He was a current member of the Windcrest United Methodist Church and served in numerous positions.
Mr. Graeber was active with the Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, C.A.M. and Kairos Prison Ministry.
He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp.
In the 1970's Mr. Graeber became an interior decorator and owned his own business.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Vivian Graeber and sister, Mary Jane Martorell.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Graeber; sons, Randall Graeber and his wife, Paula of Dallas, TX, Daniel Graeber and his wife, Tresa of Paradise, TX; grandchildren, Briana, Trevor and Aaron Graeber; stepchildren, Todd Hopwood and his wife, Denise of Decatur, IL., Michael Hopwood and his wife, Kim of Brentwood, MO.; and step-grandchildren, Andrew, Brittany and Megan Hopwood.
