Leigh Anne Scheets

Leigh Anne Scheets, a cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, at the age of 63, in her home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 20, 1960, Leigh Anne journeyed through life with unwavering love and devotion to her family, leaving a legacy of precious memories and a life rich in love.

Leigh Anne was an alumna of San Antonio College and the University of the Incarnate Word, where she pursued an education in fashion merchandising. While attending college, Leigh Anne met Peter Scheets. They were married at the Oblate Missions Church in San Antonio. As a devoted mother, Leigh Anne poured her heart and soul into raising her children. She is survived by Christopher Scheets, Pauline Scheets, Brent Stone, Erik Scheets, and Isabelle Scheets. She instilled in each of her children a sense of love, compassion, and humor. Her devotion extended to her grandchildren: Wesley Scheets, Hudson Stone, Greyson Stone, and Kayden Brown, who adored her dearly.

As we bid farewell to our beloved Leigh Anne, we find solace in the knowledge that she has been called home to her Heavenly Father, where she will dwell in eternal peace and serenity. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts, inspiring us to live lives of unfaltering love, compassion, and dedication to family.

Leigh Anne Scheets leaves behind not only a legacy of ferocious and resolute love in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her - but also hundreds of precious memories filled with laughter and joy. Her quick-witted humor, her vibrant energy, and her braveness will continue to live animatedly in the memories she left behind She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and all whose lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved and adored her.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
