Leona “Lee” Newman, born May 30, 1917 in Los Angeles, CA, went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2013 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 95. She is survived by her brother Robert Kirkpatrick and wife Dorothy of San Jose, CA, stepson Clifford Newman and wife Peggy, stepdaughter Marilyn Wilson and husband George, and other family members in San Antonio, San Jose, San Francisco, and Nebraska. Visitation will be on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 9:30-10:30am at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78218 with a Graveside service to follow at 11am at Sunset Memorial Park.
