Leonor S. Arredondo

After a long debilitating illness, the Lord has called Leonor S. Arredondo to his side at the age of 93. Leonor (Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother) will be deeply missed by all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Prior to her illness, Leonor was full of life and loved raising her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She enjoyed working in the garden and could make any plant grow and flourish. Leonor was also a home-based entrepreneur, starting various businesses at a time when women where not encouraged to enter the business world.

Leonor was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas in 1931 and passed November 3, 2024. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband, Juan T. Arredondo, her parents, Luis Serna and Juana Rodriguez, daughter Yolanda Arredondo, and sister Maria Hortencia Rodriguez.

Leonor’s memory will live forever in her children, Juan T. Arredondo, Rosalinda Pelayo, Robert (Rose) Arredondo, Yolanda (John, decd.) Young, Sylvia (Joe) Martinez and Diana (Juan) Castillo.

(Mary Cantwell) Castillo, Joe Martinez lll (Nancy), Shawn (Meghan) Castillo.

Great Grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose, Becca, Jeffery, Chris Jr., Syra, Louis, Olive, Ryan, Haley, Brooklyn, Joaquin, Amaris, Orion and Micah.

A visitation for Leonor will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 1:49 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
