Mr. and Mrs. Stedman were active in many social and community service activities including the Boy Scouts of America, and the Garden Club of Georgia. A year after the death of her husband in 2011, Mrs. Stedman moved to Cibolo, Texas where she lived for three years in the “little house” across the back yard from her son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons.
In 2015, she moved to Emerald Oaks Retirement Community where she lived until the time of her death. She met many wonderful friends there, many of whom she taught to play Mahjong and various card games which they enjoyed together several days each week. Mrs. Stedman is remembered with love by many who knew her as family or friend.
