She is survived by Jean Merrill, daughter, (Ralph) of Evergreen, Colorado, and Burt McCoy, son, (Sue) of Mountain View, Oklahoma. Lil has four Grandchildren, Winston Merrill of Evergreen, Colorado, Lori Frishette of Frisco, Colorado, Shane Oberle (Michael), Austin, Texas, and Christopher McCoy, Austin, Texas. She had two great grandchildren, Alex and Sam Oberle, Austin, Texas.
Her beloved husband, Bill, her father and mother, and loving brother, Bill, preceded Lil in death.
Lil graduated from North Texas State Teachers College, Denton, Texas, and taught public school in Lindale, Texas, and in the San Antonio Independent School District. She was also active in Ladies Alzafar Shine and San Antonio Restaurant Association organizations.
