Linda S. Backos

Linda married Joseph Backos on January 19, 1963, after they met while attending a dance at Brooks Air Force Base, Airman's Club. It was love at first sight. Together they had two daughters, Stacey and Wendy.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Martel Langley; father-in-law, Joseph A. Backos; mother-in-law Sophie Backos; and her daughter Stacey Smith. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Joseph Backos; her daughter Wendy Backos; son in law Craig Smith; grandchildren Kasie (Taylor) Thompson, Brody (Michella) Smith, Ty Smith (fiancée Kenzie Gable) , Tucker Smith and Tate Smith; great grandchildren Layla Thompson, Lincoln Thompson, Ford Smith and Foster Smith; sisters Wanda (Bill) Chamartin and Gayle Spillman; nephews Chad Chamartin (fiancée Sarah Naselli) and Adam (Ashley) Chamartin; great nieces Olivia and Brooklyn Chamartin and great nephew, Cameron Chamartin. As well as numerous cousins and lifelong extended family friends.
