Linda Gayle Mercer

Linda was born in Donaldsonville, Georgia on May 1, 1944 to her parents, the late Alder B. and Virginia McNeill.

She enjoyed crafts such as quilting, crocheting, and embroidery. Linda put her heart into the gifts she made for her family and friends. She served in the Children's Young at Heart and Hand of Grace Ministries at her church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Mercer in 1978; her parents; and brother.

Linda's beloved family included her daughters, Sandra and Edward Mauricio, Suzanne and Jim Abbott, Virginia and Randy Stiles; her 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind 3 sisters she adored, Martha Sasnett, Dianne and Bob Monk, Cynthia and Barry O'Bryant; several nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
