With heavy hearts and deep love, we share the passing of Linda Rojas Vermilyea, who left this world peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on February 17, 1936 to Ventura and Adela Rojas, Linda lived a life full of love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved son, James Griffin, whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
Linda is survived by her loving son Tom Griffin and his wife Laura, and their son Austin, who brought her so much joy. She is also survived by her dear granddaughter Camilla Kabat and her husband Anthony, along with four great-grandchildren James, Alyssa, Adrian, and Joseph who were the light of her later years and a constant source of pride and happiness.
To those who knew her, Linda was more than a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a calm and steady presence, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, and a warm hug.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts and lives of her family in the traditions she passed down, the stories she told, and the love she so freely gave. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will remain a guiding light in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever cherished.
