I did not know of Lisa's passing untill I noticed her as being a memorial class mate. Lisa was a aspiring person in school and will truly be remembered this weekend at the HS Reunion. My sympathy to your family. Wanda class of 1981

Words cannot describe how shocked I am to hear about the passing of my best friend from high school. We had lost touch over the years and I was so looking forward to seeing her at our 30th yr. reunion. I will cherish all of the memories we had together, especially all of the time in band, time spent with the Stephens family at CHFBC allowing me to sit in with the orchestra - thank you! and of course the missionary trip to Mexico. I send to the family my prayers and love for her.

I had no idea Lisa had passed until I saw hear listed on our upcoming reunion website's memorial page. She was a dear friend at Clark, and we had wonderful adventures in band, choir, and stage. This obituary doesn't mention that in addition to her talent in the arts, she was an honors student. We shared many classes together, and she was such a wonderful student and friend. I think my parents were secretly disappointed in me that I never tried to date her as they were quite fond of her.

When my mother was still living in the late 60's and early 70's, the Harry Stephens family and ours went on camping trips together. After my mother died, Diane watched over my sisters Cathi, Sheri and Lori and myself while my dad was at work. I had a fast friendship with all of their kids, particularly Lisa and Mark, with whom I was closest in age. I am very sorry for your loss, I have just learned of Lisa's passing. My heart is heavy for you and all your family members at this time. Lisa was probably one of my first friends at CHBC and was a member as long as I was, if not longer. I remember her with her short dark hair and sitting with me at the Wednesday night dinner table in the old Church hall. I remember her telling me of the automobile accident and the seat belt bruises she sustained. All of our many softball games off Basse rd. and Scott keeping the score. Many a nights were spent at those fields. God Bless you all.

Lisa was a very sweet spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bass and Stephens families.

So saddened to hear about Lisa's passing. I knew her throughout middle school and highschool and she will be missed. Prayers to the family and God's healing during this difficult time.

I remember jumping on the trampaline running in the backyard and popping all those pills out of their little packets under the pingpong table :
