Lois Weimer McDaniel went to be with the Lord July 21, 2015 at the age of 88 in Boerne, Texas. Lois was born March 28, 1927 to Eugene and Pauline Weimer in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. McDaniel graduated from Edgewood High School after that she worked at Kelly A.F.B. then she was the secretary at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Helotes, TX., and a member of Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League.
Lois is survived by her daughters: Terri Justice (James),Donna Hensley and Robin McDaniel; sons: David McDaniel (Marsha) and Mark McDaniel (Treise); 5 granddaughters; brother: James Weimer (Jackie); sister: Judy Olson (Art) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Don McDaniel and brother: Alton Weimer.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 9 am then funeral services will follow immediately at 10 am. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church 3200 West Loop 1604 San Antonio, Texas 78245. Interment will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer ’s disease Research or Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
