

Lolita Morales Powao entered eternal rest on July 22, 2017 at the age of 73. Born in the Philippines to Bevenido and Paterna Morales on June 21, 1944, she is now reunited with her parents and brother Jose Morales. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Pedro Powao, children: Christopher (Eugenia) Powao, Rey (Kelleah) Powao, Margarette (Soury) Phanhtharath; grandchildren: Andrew Powao, Serynna Phanhtharath, Claire Powao, Hannah Powao, Havanna Phanhtharath, Stella Powao, Keennan Phanhtharath, and baby on-the-way Lukkas Tai Powao; sister, Dr. Remedios Morales Samiento, and numerous other relatives. Lolita was a hardworking, loving, patient, generous, and kind woman who always put others before herself. She worked at Santa Rosa Hospital for over 23 faithful years as a clinical laboratory scientist and enjoyed her profession and those who worked alongside her. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family, especially her grand babies. Her love and presence will truly be missed by many. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to celebrate a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
