Lorraine M. Kolodzie Clifton

Lorraine Marie Clifton was called home to our heavenly father on March 5, 2010 at the age of 82. She was at her residence in Windcrest, Texas, surrounded by family and close friends on the day of her death. Lorraine was born in Falls City, Texas, September 27, 1927 to Ambrose J. and Caroline Kolodzie. She attended Falls City Schools and graduated from Karnes City High School in 1946. Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to their happiness. Lorraine was an active and creative person who enjoyed varied activities, including cooking, gardening and sewing. She was an active member of her community, Windcrest and was actively involved in the Catholic Faith & a very dedicated member of St. John Neumann Catholic at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her brother Ambrose Jr. who was 18 years old and her mother and father. Survivors include her husband, Howard W. Clifton; a daughter, Brenda Zachman of Bulverde, TX; and a son, Duane Clifton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday~March 9, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday~March 10, 2010 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 6680 Crestway, San Antonio, Texas 78239. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
