Louise Wilmeth Chiodo, 83, went in her sleep to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 18, 2001. She was born in Pearsall, Texas, 22 September 1917, and grew up in Divot & Dilley, Texas. Louise was valedictorian of her Dilley High School class and graduate of TSCW now TWU in Denton, Texas. She taught homemaking at Devine High School before becoming an Aircraft Inspector at Kelly Field. Although she worked in various capacities in her husband's various businesses, her greatest love and passion was always her family, first as loving wife and mother, and then later as "Mom Mom" to her granddaughters. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Victory Bible Class. She is survived by her husband, Chester H. Chiodo; and sons, Mr. and Dr. Roger Rupert Chiodo and Mr. And Mrs. Thomas Chester Chiodo; granddaughters, Cara and Catherine; brother, Rupert Wilmeth; sister, Cleo Chiodo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
