I was very saddened to hear and still cannot accept the reality that "LuLu" has left this world and is now in a better place. It is really depressing on one hand to reminisce about the great times I had with her and Kip, Todd, Richard, and Cliff, yet these were some of the best times of my life--times which will never be forgotton. I regret that over the last 15 years that we did not get together or keep in touch as often as we had in prior years. I can only say that I will miss her. To Kip, Richard, Todd, and Cliff i want you guys to know that i am so sorry that things turned out this way. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all, Larry.

The unity and love Mrs. Lowe's family exhibited in her last days and hours was an inspiration to me. I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet all of you and help care for her during her stay at VITAS. My prayers are with you.

I have very cherished memories of Lucille when I was growing up. To celebrate one of my Birthday's she took me shopping and bought me several outfits to include my very first neg"li'gee'. It was beautiful! I am also very thankful that she helped in taking good care of my Grandma Lowe whom was a widow for nearly 20 years following my Grandpa Lowe's death in West Virginia. My Grandma was very happy during these years and I greatly thank my Uncle Kip and Lucille for this. May GOD be granting her most eternal wishes in HEAVEN!!! We were friends with Lucille during our youthful years. We were at the Majestic Theater the night she twirled a perfect baton performance and along with her beautiful smile and lovely figure, won the 1960 Miss San Antonio title. We were so proud of her. We had many visits to her childhood home and can remember the pride on her face as she showed us pictures of her parents sitting up in the Lincoln bed at the White House. Trips in Mr. Allan's plane to Lake Travis were memorable and we fell in love with Lake Travis and have called it home for the last thirty-three years. We were at the hospital the night Todd was born and the pictures of Jim teaching Todd to ski at Cloudcroft or carrying Todd on his shoulders all thru Six Flags at Arlington, are still very special to us. The Allans were good to us. There were wedding showers, baby showers and lots of fun, family parties. Later we shared a little time at Texas A&M when our son was a senior and her youngest son was a freshman in the Corp. Life does go in a circle. Lucille was an elegant, beautiful, kind and giving person and I know she will be missed by all who loved her. Jim and Sybil Arnold

Your delicious treats that fed our bodies and our souls cannot be replicated, and Texas Aggie games with weekends we shared in College Station shall remain in my memories for always. We shall cherish our lifetime of memories of laughing & loving with Lulu. We are especially thankful for our close friendship that went beyond family ties and moments spent together during our two and a half years in San Antonio. We look forward to our reunion in Heaven!

One of my fondest memories of LuLu was when she and Kip came to West Virginia in the Executive motor home, and attended my oldest son, Larry's wedding. She helped me with all the last minute wedding preparations and I wouldn't have made it without her. LuLu was like that, always stepping in and saving the day. LuLu was a very special person in my life. She possessed beauty, dignity and grace and I will miss her very much.

I will never forget when Uncle Kip first brought our amazing LuLu to California and into my life. Growing up she always personified womanhood, grace, humility. I learned love in action from her. Her love for her husband, family, kinfolk and community knew no bounds. I will miss those twinkling blue eyes, that smile and her life-affirming words...I am thankful for the Lord sharing her with us and look forward to my next hug in Heaven...

Words cannot express how deeply I will miss you Lu Lu... but I will carry on as I know you wish for me... and love and care for my family; living life to it's fullest, for the Glory of God.

My fondest memories of my Aunt LuLu are all the quiet times we shared when we would talk about our kids, family, and how much we loved them and would do anything for them. LuLu was always there for me when I had exciting news to share or if I had a difficult decision to make. I could always count on her to listen and she never made judgements. She was so very wise, generous, and funny. I will miss all our sweets times together.

My heart is broken! I loved Lucille because of the special person and friend she was. What wonderful memoreis we have. Our prayers are with you Kip and the family.

Although I never met Lucille Lowe, I know that she was a lovely person and a special mother, grandmother and mother-in-law because I work with Andrea Lowe and know Cliff and Ford. Lucille was a blessing to her husband and her whole family. I wish all of her loved ones peace and happy memories.

I was so saddened to read of Lucille's passing. Her picture shows the same beautiful face I remember from our childhood on Jeanette. I was a Zimmermann, and I loved all the Allans. She was a sweet, beautiful youngster, and I'm sure she grew up with the same wonderful values she exhibited at that time.

Lucille held true to her values throughout her life. She was a loving wife and caring mother.

Condolences to Jessie and Thelma. I have know the family since mid 50's and attended school with Jessie and Lucille.

My family is truly blessed to have known Mrs. Lowe she will forever live on in our hearts. I will never forget the time she took when we decided to move to Texas going out with us searching for a home we looked and looked and the day we pulled up at Enchanted Elm and walked up in the yard and spotted the Mimosa Tree in the front yard and as we explained the importance of the tree to her she looked at me and Bridgette and said God works in mysterious ways and that was his way of telling us we were home! Nonnie touched all of our lives in many ways I will always remember her bright smile and her loving nature. Her comforting words helped me through some difficult times in my life and I will be forever grateful.

Our fondest memories are those summers when Kip & Lu came to WV and the beach. We played games, ate Lu's yummy cakes and delicious dinners, had coffee and laughed. We will cherish those memories of our precious LuLu and look forward to seeing her beautiful face again.
