Lucille was born in 1941 in Caldwell, Texas to Thelma and William N. Allan. She moved to San Antonio as a young girl and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1960.
Lucille was a member of Castle Hills First Baptist Church for over thirty-five years.
Lucille had a special way of making her friends feel valued and respected. She never failed to let them know she appreciated and cared about them by performing loving acts such as preparing delicious food, spending time with them, laughing with them, and sharing words of encouragement.
Lucille's life revolved around her family. She was a dedicated and loving wife and exemplified all that is good and right about motherhood. Lucille gave unconditional love, patience, humor, comfort, and shared lessons in life with her children and grandchildren. Becoming "Nonnie" to all who knew her gave her immeasurable pride. Her goal in life and greatest pleasure was to make happy memories with her family.
Lucille is survived by her husband of forty years, Kip; sons Todd, Richard, and Cliff; daughters-in law Terri and Andrea; granddaughters Jacqueline and Marissa; and grandsons, Garrett, Karsten, and Ford. She is further survived by her mother, Thelma Allan, sister, Jessie Killian, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her father, William N. Allan and brother, Billy Allan preceded Lucille in death.
