

Lucio was born on February 12, 1938 to the late Lucio and Irene Gonzales in San Antonio, TX.
After high school he enlisted in the US Navy. Upon his discharge he worked for Lockheed Martin in California and for the US Government in Panama. He returned to San Antonio and Married the Love of His Life, Lucy and together they raised four children. In 1968 he got a job with the Federal government working flight line maintenance at Kelly AFB where he would retire after 30 years of service. He also enlisted in the Army National Guard where he would serve 18yrs before retiring.
Lucio was always willing to help anyone in need and had a talent for making friends wherever he went. He loved to spend time with his Family,play Golf, Bar B Que, and to work on his Lawn and in his Garden. Lucio was a devoted Life time fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Lucio coached Little League and Pop Warner teams for many years and was active in his local VFW Post 9983. Lucio's kindness, generosity, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Lucio is survived by his loving wife Lucy, his daughter Georgette Lamey and her children Kristin & Aftan, his sons Michael(Janine) and their children Stephanie & Thomas, Henry,and Raymond(Karen Barbour) and their children Jeremiah & Joshua, his sister Doris Lujan(Gilbert), brothers Raymond and Roy(Candy), and sisters-in-law Nancy and Blanca and many nieces,nephews, and great grandchildren.
In addition to his aforementioned parents, Lucio is preceded in death by his brothers Henry, Richard, and Robert, his sister-in-law Ester and nephews Gilbert"Sonny" Jr.and Arne.
