

Longtime husband, father, friend and Physician, Luis Adolfo Guimbarda MD lay to rest on March 9th, 2012. Born on October 4th, 1938 in Monterrey, Mexico son to Adolfo Guimbarda Barrera and Consuelo Villarreal Guimbarda, brother to four sisters, he lived a beautiful life of 73 years.
He was a graduate of Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon as a Medical Practitioner. He married his lovely wife Dolores Guzman Danes in December of 1960 and immigrated to the United States in 1961 where he began his journey serving others as a physician.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dolores Guimbarda, his children, Luis Adolfo Guimbarda, Jr., Angela Maria Guimbarda and Antonio Javier Blanchet, Carlos Alberto and Julie Ann Guimbarda, Eduardo Jaime and Mary Elizabeth Guimbarda, 13 grandchildren and many admired friends.
He was a faithful servant of the Lord. As a medical doctor he served the San Antonio community for 51 years and healed many. He was an inspiring and loyal friend, a caring brother, a compassionate son, a dedicated and nurturing father and a loving husband. He was loved by many and will be missed. The good Lord shared with us a wonderful man. Now he has returned home to eternal life in heaven where he will continue his love of service to all.
