Luis Antonio Villanueva born December 4, 1955 went to be with our Lord on June 10, 2018 at the age of 62. Luis was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from the American Airlines. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports. He was the Hispanic Club President. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel & Maria Villanueva; son, Christopher Lee Villanueva; brother, Manuel Villanueva, Jr and grandson, Santos Gonzales. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Irma Villanueva; children, Luis Antonio Villanueva Jr., Joann Bernal, Bobby Villanueva and Victoria Villanueva; , 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren of which he adored. Also, brothers, Joe Angel Morales and Ernest Villanueva; sisters, Rosalinda Guerra, Matilde Trevino and Cynthia Morales.
The Visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
