Lyla Kennedy of San Antonio passed away August 5th, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born October 22nd, 1922 in Hammond, Indiana. She retired in 1984 from Army & Air Force Exchange Service at Ft. Sam Houston where she served as an accounting technician for 25 years. She was a member of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Church.
She was preceded in death by husband John, and will be missed by her neighbors and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday August 9, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
