Lynne was a graduate of North East High School, Class of 1958. She continued her education at San Antonio College, The University of Texas at Austin, and Santa Rosa Hospital School of Medical Technology, later earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Texas Christian University in 1979.
