Lynne Walker

Lynne was born on March 15, 1948 to Mary Mandeville Rakestraw and Major John William Rakestraw.

After graduating from Schertz-Cibolo High School, Lynne joyously embraced motherhood and family with her beloved husband, Cornel, raising her children, John Koch and Laura Koch Matula, and his children, Stephen Walker and Shannon Walker.

Lynne was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and served her Lord through a generous spirit shared with all she met.

Lynne was predeceased by her parents and her infant grandson, Jack Cook.

She is mourned by her devoted husband, Cornel, children, John, Laura, Stephen and Shannon, son-in-law, Jon, sister Diana Williams, parents-in-law, Craig and Lynette Walker Allen, and four adored grandchildren, Hannah, Lindsey and Madisyn Matula, and Brodie Walker.

Our lives have been blessed by her goodness and inspired by her courage.
