She was born in 1922 in Hovey, TX, and graduated from William Adams HS in Alice, TX., in 1939.
Louise married Joe Andrews, Sr., on February 5, 1941. They were members of First Baptist Church of Alice and of Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio. She and her husband were the first franchisees of Whataburger in Alice in 1953, before moving to San Antonio in 1982. In both cities they were involved in many church activities.
Above all Louise will be cherished as a beloved mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son Joe Andrews, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Reese of Spring Branch; her daughter-in-law, Jan Andrews of Helotes; 8 grandchildren, Cheryl Morris and her husband Shawn, Billy Joe Andrews and his wife Kelly, Kristen Golla and her husband Brian, Erica Andrews and her husband Brett Bell, Lance Gray, Kim James and her husband David, Andrew Williamson and his wife Gina, and Tiffanei Reese; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Travis and Janie Andrews; a sister-in-law, Marie Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
