

Manuel Almaguer, Jr., loving husband, father & grandfather, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the age of 87 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores L. Almaguer, parents Manuel & Aguedita Almaguer and son-in-law Arthur A. Patino. Manuel was known as an avid fisherman and also for his creativity, inventiveness, generosity, sense of humor and love of family. He was a Navy veteran, lifelong member of Sheet Metal Local Union #67 and a devoted member of the St. Henry's Catholic Church Holy Name Society. He is survived by his children, John Rosie, Virginia Carlos, Alicia, Michael Delia, Jeanette Steven and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
