Manuel S. Esparza, Jr. entered into rest on February 16, 2013 at the age of 77. After several years of working as a truck driver at GEM Materials, he retired in 2004. He is preceded in death by his father Manuel Esparza, mother Margarita Saldaña Esparza and brother Juan Esparza. He is survived by his loving wife Eulalia(Lala)Esparza, sons Mark Anthony Esparza (Lynette) and Abel Saldaña (Dolores), daughter Corina Ramirez-Gamez (Eduardo), sisters Mary Gomez, Martha Castillo(Joe), Margarita Flores (Juan), Josie Gutierrez(Augustin), brother Joe Esparza, 9 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. . Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February, 19, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
