Marcelino R. Aguirre III, (Mars) AKA Boy, born June 22, 1973, in Oahu, Hawaii, Tripler Army Medical Center, entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's: Jesus Antonio Ramon and Marcelino Aguirre Sr. Mars leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Graciela G. Aguirre; son: Marcelino G. Aguirre IV; daughter: Gyselle I. Aguirre; parents: Ruby and Marcelino S. Aguirre Jr.; sister: Christina Aguirre; brother: Andrew Aguirre; sister: Soila Isabel Aguirre; grandmother: Soila Ramon; 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Mars was a 1991 graduate from South San High School. He worked for H. B. Zachary Co. for 10 years as well as Standard Aero and Boeing Company as a Machinist. Mars continued his career working with Holt Cat Caterpillar as a machinist and field mechanic technician.
Mars enjoyed spending time with his family going to theme parks, weekend trips and over the road trips. He also enjoyed the outdoors, going to the beach, sport events, and monster truck jams.
Mars was always considerate of others, if you needed a hand or just someone to talk to he would make himself available at the drop of a hat. He was the life of the party, there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and anyone he came into contact with, but will always continue in our hearts.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, February 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service to be held at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III, located at 1735 Cupples Road in San Antonio, Texas.
