Marcia June Boggs

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio and maintained close friendships with several classmates, and attended High School reunions as often as she could. Marcia was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church until her battle with Parkinsons prevented her from attending services regularly. One of her greatest passions these last 9 years has been spending time with her granddaughter Leightyn. Her granddaughter was her world.

She loved to travel, specifically in more recent years to San Miguel de Allende, where she studied the culture and took Spanish lessons for several weeks. She was a very spiritual person and enjoyed doing volunteer work, mostly at the Sams Ministry in San Antonio

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dee Pape; and aunt, Dixie. Marcia is survived by her daughter, Shannon Villarreal and husband Paul Villarreal; and her granddaughter, Leightyn Rose Villarreal.
