

Margarett Sorola Brown , age 70, of Boerne, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 19 in San Antonio, TX, after courageously fighting a 4 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born January 29, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to John H. Sorola and Ramona Cruz Sorola. Margarett graduated from Burbank High in 1959 and from Our Lady of the Lake University in 1963. She was instrumental in the organization and the operation of the family business, Sorola's Outdoor Power Equipment. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Loren Brown, her children, Jeff Brown, Jaclyn Hanover, son-in-law, Kyle Hanover, and two beautiful grandchildren, Bryce and Malory Hanover. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors from her two special communities; Waterstone and St. Joseph Honey Creek Parish. The family wishes to thank Dr. A. James White, MD (her gynecologist, oncologist, and surgeon of 4 years) for his tireless care, along with the wonderful staff at the START center. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday, March 26, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
