Maria Anita Castaneda

Beth was born October 1, 1965. She is survived by her parents, Tullis & Liz Thomas and Lou & Ken Bell, her daughters Lunden (16) and Laurel (14) Patterson of San Antonio, brother, Craig Thomas of McQueeney and nephews Cullen and Mueller Thomas. She is also survived by step sisters, Mary Hubbell of Houston, Kendra Bell of Dallas, Stacy Bell of Orange Vale, CA. Step brothers, Tim Thomas of Dallas and Todd Thwing of Gonzales.

Beth grew up in Lake McQueeney and graduated from Seguin High School. She loved being in and around the water, whether it was at the lake or at the coast. She went on to graduate from Texas A&M. She taught school for 12 years at North East ISD, Christian Heritage Schools, San Antonio Christian Schools and East Central ISD. Beth enjoyed her years of teaching as she felt children were the gift of life.

Services

The family will receive friends at a viewing on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge. A private Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Mission Burial Park North.
