

Maria worked for the City of San Antonio for many years. She enjoyed gambling and watching cooking channels. She loved cooking for her family especially tamales and homemade tortillas.
She is preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Davila; parents, Pedro C and Mucia O. Davila; brothers, Estephen Davila, Robert Davila, Pedro Davila Jr.; sister, Aurora Dominguez.
She is survived by her daughters, Chuya Pierce (Manuel Mann), Melinda Davila (Joe Medellin) and Mucia Ortiz (Jorge Herrera); grandchildren, Richard Pierce Jr., Christopher Pierce (Christine Spiller), Adam Medellin, Eric A. Medellin, Deanne M. Medellin (Tommy Gil), Fabian Herrera (Yesenia Saldana), Caleb Herrera, Starlette Davila; great grandchildren, Orion J. Gil and Amethyst Herrera; siblings, Felicitas Arocha, Alice Martinez (Joe Martinez), Olga Urias (Vale Urias), Henry Davila, David Davila, Yolanda Tijerina (George Tijerina) numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends. Maria will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Visitation held Thursday, March 21, 2024 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. On Friday, March 22, 2024 our doors will open at 8:30 a.m. we will go in procession for an 11:30 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2114 W Houston Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
