Maria Del Carmen Lopez was born to the late Jorge and Macrina Lopez, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on 02/02/1960. As a child she live there with her parents and siblings helping them run a business store. She moved to San Antonio, Tx as an adult and had her son Saul Omar Lopez on 11/21/1988.
Maria was a lovely waitress and helped run a restaurant along side her best friend Josefina Pena for a few years. She continued waitressing through out her years where she was loved and met some of her closest friends. She was always a happy and energetic person who loved to dance.
Maria became a part of the Pena family which included Josefina Pena and her 3 children Priscilla, Jesse and Mary Pena, where she was loved dearly. She is considered their Nana and made beautiful memories with them through the generations.
Maria is survived by her only son Saul Omar Lopez, his wife Stephanie Tovar and grand children Yescenia, Samara and Samuel Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents Jorge and Macrina Lopez and brother Jose Luis Lopez Contreras.
