Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Gonzales

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Justo Agustin Gonzales; Siblings: Reynaldo Imperial, Martin Imperial, Julio Imperial, Olga Imperial and Sofia Imperial.

She is survived by her loving children: Connie Bonenberger, Irene Medrano, Lisa Padilla, Tomas Gonzales, Agustin Gonzales; grandchildren: Leonard Jr, Karla, David, Ron, Michael, Miranda, Amy, Janice, Vivian, Sophia, Jeff, Mark, Tommy, Jayson, Christian , Austin, Isabelle, Aliah; great-grandchildren: Julian, Ethan, Madison, Leonard III, Alexis Joy, Nytalia, Asher Duncan, Alicia, Aidan, Caylen, Sofia, Trey, Wesley, Leo, Athena, Cyrus, Leonard IV, Lucian and Brady;great-great grandchildren: Joanna, Julius, Journey; sister: Gloria Carranza Imperial as well as numerous family members and friends.

Lupita was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother was very devoted to her family. She was most proud of obtaining her citizenship on May 14, 1999, which it took her a long year to achieve. She was a kind, generous person she always made you feel welcome. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1:30pm-5:00pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 2pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
