Maria Dolores Guevara, born on May 26, 1925 in Oakland, California was called to be with The Lord on August 1, 2021 at the age of 96 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino Aviles and Juanita Saldana Aviles; husband, Augustine Guevara Sr.
She is survived by her children, Juanita A. Rodriguez (George), Matilde Christi (Greg), Maria Dolores Giresi (Danny), Jesse Guevara (Teresa), Victor Guevara, Susan Castillo (Rudy), Rosa Lopez, Augustine Guevara Jr., (Isabella), Mary Lou Garza and Elizabeth Cavazos (Librado); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Rosary at 7:15 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2114 W. Commerce at Trinity, San Antonio, TX 78207. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery & Mausoleum II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
