Maria, I remember how sweet and kind you always were.  You always had a smile on your face and were ready for some coffee.  I will always remember our long talks by the fence and how we shared prayer requests for our families.  Your hands were always busy helping people, but the greatest service I ever saw from you, was in loving and serving your children. Your love for your children was exceeded only by your love for Jesus! I know the Lord has many crowns for you and a special mansion in glory.  Have a cup of coffee with my mama.

Oh Maria,  the memories that will always stay with me are the travel back n forth to san antonio from Oklahoma. The Christian love in your words of guidance and advice to me ,I will cherish always. You were a great mother figure and true friend I had when there were none. You had a sense of humor and laughter I'll always remember.  Thank you dear friend for being you and showing me the love of Christ through your actions and inactions.  I love you Maria. Thanking God for the lovely and perfect walk you now share with our beloved Father in heaven.

We willl soon be celebrating the life of my grandmother (aka Mom to us all) and as I been reflecting, I had several fond memories with her 🩷 A few I’ll share was when I got to go with her and my grandfather on base to the DLI Amigo’s dinner where they were so loved by the military personnel there. She was in her element enjoying the food, music, and socializing with everyone! Then whenever we would leave she would say “Sayonara! That’s Japanese for goodbye you know?!”Lastly, one of the funniest memories was when she was super annoyed with my mom and aunt and whispers to me “They just think I am a Witch with a capital B.” I turned so fast once I realized what she meant and she brightened up saying “Oh you like that one huh?!” 😂 She brought many people smiles, love, and comfort but most of all for me, she gave me the best mom ever. My mom learned so much from her and in turn has been the best mother to my sisters and I so for that, I am forever grateful. So Mom, Sayonara for now until we meet again! 🤍🕊️

Ernie and  family, may the Heavenly Father give you extra measures of strength through this time for we know it is temporary until we are all called to glory. I still remember the stories Maria would tell me of how you and she met. She was very proud of you Ernie and how God used you in His service. God bkess you and your family.

My beloved (former) mother-in-law. Though time and titles changed, the love and respect I had for her never did. What a woman. Wow! She truly gave me so much, taught me what it is to be a mother, and always showed me love and grace. She helped my family and me get to where we are today in so many good ways. A matriarch to be celebrated, indeed. She was a teacher, leader, and GIVER; she was kind, funny, quick-witted, had a passion for people, a loving and gentle soul and heart. She was also very intelligent. She ALWAYS gave her family and friends the absolute very best of herself, and I will never forget it. She leaves a wonderful legacy, unmatched by any woman I have ever met, and I could only hope to aspire to be as great a woman, mother, and friend as she.
