Maria Olga Samaniego

Maria Olga Samaniego, born October 21, 1940 went with the Lord peacefully on October 31, 2016 with her loved one by her side. She married her husband October 23, 1954 and together had 6 wonderful children. She was a beautiful mother and grandmother, excellent homemaker, and a best friend. She did everything she could to take care of her children, and at the end they did everything they could do to take care of her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leopoldo Samaniego and her daughter Lupe Gomez. She is survived by her son in law, Juan Gomez, her children Maria; Leopoldo and Lydia; Larry; Michael and Tina; and Lydia and Edward. She has 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 sisters.

Olga may have not been able to provide many materialistic things but she did provide love. During her final days of life, the only thing that mattered was the love. We loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

The Visitation will begin on Sunday November 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home located at 226 Cupples Road with the a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Church Service at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park.
