Maria P. Villarreal

Maria P. Villarreal was born in Laredo. Texas on April 21, 1932, and was 94 at time of her death on May 2, 2026. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Villarreal Sr., her parents, Tomas and Ramona Z. Pulido along with her seven brothers and five sisters.

Maria is survived by sons: Francisco Jr. (wife Kelly), Heriberto (wife Mary) and Javier (wife Stella) and by her daughters: Belinda (husband Juan) and Delia Villarreal along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff at Grand Brook Memory Care, especially Shelly and Rosa, along with Freedom Hospice, especially Thelma.

The family of Maria kindly invites all friends and loved ones to join them for a Rosary at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX on May 19, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.

Family and friends are also invited to attend the Committal Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Shelter #2, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX on May 19, 2026, from 1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Please have all floral arrangements delivered to St. John Berchmans Catholic Church so they may be present during the services.
