Marjorie (Marge) grew up in Iowa. While in high school, she moved with her parents and five siblings to Wichita, KS, where she met and married her first husband, Jack Aaron Lawson, in 1943. She was widowed on D-Day in 1944, only months before their daughter, Sheryl, was born.
In 1948 in Kansas City, KS, Marge married Robert (Bob) Eugene Adams. Together they had two more children, Donald and Pamela.
The family moved to Albuquerque, NM, in 1955, where Marge became active in civic organizations, including Albuquerque Jr. Women's Club, Cosmopolitan Women's Club, and The Assistance League. She loved and collected dolls and was a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs. Marge's faith and involvement with the Lutheran church was always important to her, and she continued working with woman's groups and attending regular Bible studies throughout her life. Marge was a wonderful mother and loved and adored her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by Bob, her loving husband of 68 years, and is survived by her children, Sheryl Lawson Williams (Edward) of Elmira, NY, Donald E. Adams (Barbara) of Huntsville, AL, and Pamela A. Romero (Sim) of San Antonio, TX.
